Im Stadtraum, im Aufnahmeradius von Überwachungskameras, werden Rechtecke aus Warnklebeband geklebt. Die so besetzten Räume sollen auf die Videokameras aufmerksam machen und zugleich zu Reaktionen von Passanten einladen. Die Aktionen werden fotografisch dokumentiert und die Reaktionen der Betrachter eingefangen, in Gesprächen wird über den Zweck der Aktion aufgeklärt und auf die Omnipräsenz der Videoüberwachung aufmerksam gemacht. Yellow and black adhesive tape is used to demarcate
rectangular shapes on the floor in surveilled places in the cityscape.
The occupied spaces are supposed to raise attention and provoke reactions
of passers-by. The interventions as well as the reactions of the
spectators were documented photographically. In conversations with
interested spectators, the omnipresence of visual surveillance and
the reason for the interventions are discussed. |
